So, we've already taken out some trim, and put up some beadboard (again, sorry posterity). Now we need to put some trim back in. I wanted to show you chair rail, just to give you a start-to-finish look at the half bath, since I did the beadboard tutorial in there but alas, the hubby was too quick for me, so I'm gonna show you some extra crown moulding that he put in that bathroom instead.
Yeah, that's right, I said extra crown, but this house is all trimmed out, and every other room in the house came with 2 layers of crown, why should the guest bathroom continue to be neglected?

So, basically, you measure from wall to wall. Use a miter saw to make a 45 degree cut on each end so that the BACK of the trim is longer, and fits the "wall to wall" measurement.
Be sure to lay a level on top of the trim before you nail it in (using short - 1 1/2" - 2" trim nails in an air nailer). Just keep it up, and go all around the room, measuring, leveling, fitting the pieces together, and nailing them in.
As mentioned in the beadboard post, go around a fill in the nail holes with wood putty or painter's putty. Then caulk away (check out that post for some oh-so-amazing caulking info - ooh-la-la!)
